What is eyelash lifting?
Lash lifts are something which involves adhering false inserts to the lash line to in order to create fullness. It is basically all about enhancing the eyelashes of what a woman already has. It works like a perm for your lashes. It’s like changing your lashes into a lifted and in a beautifully curled state. Although we are aware that harsh chemicals are being used to perm your hair, the lash-lifting treatment use products that are much gentler.
The Procedure:
Before starting the actual process, you should make sure that the eye area and lashes are free of makeup and oil. The specialist at the eyebrow clinic will then begin by applying a silicone mould onto the eyelid with the help of non-toxic glue. This non-toxic glue is mainly the only thing that will be in contact with the skin. The technician will then start curling the lashes using the glue over the mould, which is curved upward and outward to create a curl with the silicone mould on the eyelid.
Once these lashes are stuck properly and separated, the result will be clearly seen. This treatment is done just for your upper lashes. Once each and every lash is applied onto the mould, the technician will separate them individually, so you get a nice curl on your eyelashes, and then would apply the perm solution. The perm solution is a chemical solution that sits on the root of the eyelashes, between the root and middle of the lash, and it would sit for about 10-15 minutes depending on the client.
